Parental Engagement – How parents can support their child through the exam journey.

Examination Period

During the summer term your child will be completing their GCSE examinations, in some cases this will also include their Non Examination Assessments (NEAs) or BTEC coursework.  To ensure that you are fully informed of your child’s examinations, all of the key dates can be located in an attachment below.  Please be aware that the examination boards have identified Monday 27 June to Wednesday 29 June as contingency dates in case any exams are cancelled We hope this gives you a clear picture of which examinations your child will be sitting this year.

Study club

Please be aware during term time we offer the opportunity for your child to access the Post 16 Resource Area for private study 3.10pm – 4.10pm Monday to Thursday.  This is supervised and students can access ICT facilities.  We strongly recommend your child makes use of this facility.
