Key Stage 4

Key Stage 4 Learning Pathway

All students in KS4 will have to take a number of compulsory subjects.  These subjects are: English, Maths, Science, PE, RE, Welsh and Welsh Baccalaureate.  As well as these compulsory subjects students have an opportunity to identify three other subjects they would like to study alongside the above compulsory subjects.

To support our students through this process we will:

• Offer your child guidance to make sure they select the most appropriate options;
• Advise your child to consider a balanced curriculum which includes a modern foreign language, a humanities subject and a creative or technology subject.  This is optional;
• Interview your child to make sure they are happy with their choices;
